A Construction Consultancy is seeking a Project Controls Engineer with Power BI to drive data-driven decisions, manage data, create reports and develop dashboards using Microsoft Power BI on Nuclear related project work.
With a background in Nuclear or Energy construction project work, as a Project Controls Engineer with Power BI, your key responsibilities will include:
· Tool Utilisation: Use Power BI and other tools for visualisations and reports
· Data Management: Collect, organise and validate data from multiple sources
· Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports and custom dashboards
· Dashboard Production: Design and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards
· EVM: Track project performance, analyse data, and communicate insights
· Collaboration: Work with teams to translate requirements into data solutions
Key skills required for this Project Controls Engineer contract position:
· Project Controls experience in a build environment
· Expert skills in Power BI visualisation and reporting
· Experience in data management, reporting and EVM
· Understanding of financial metrics / project controls
· Demonstrable experience of nuclear or energy build industries
· Strong analytical and communication skills
This freelance project work is outside of IR35 and will be an initial duration of 12 months. Ideally the client is looking for 2 days a week on site in Bristol, the rest remote based, though open around this.
