A Main Contractor construction company has an opening for a BIM Coordinator to join their dynamic team in Limerick, Ireland. In this role, you'll lead the digital representation of their building projects, ensuring accuracy, quality and collaboration across all stages of the project lifecycle.
As a BIM Coordinator, your remit will involve:
· Model Coordination: Aggregate and coordinate multiple discipline-specific BIM models.
· Facilitate Collaboration: Lead regular BIM coordination meetings, integrating models and resolving clashes using tools like Navisworks.
· Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks, audits, and ensure compliance with industry best practices and project standards.
· Technical Support: Provide guidance on BIM processes, maintain the BIM Execution Plan, and produce detailed construction documents.
· Project Management: Support the BIM Manager in developing schedules, monitoring progress, and participating in strategic planning.
Desired experience we look for regarding BIM Coordinators:
· Demonstrable experience in BIM coordination, especially with Revit, Navisworks and BIM 360.
· A background in construction with knowledge of architectural, structural and MEP systems.
· Familiarity with software like AutoCAD, Synchro, Solibri, etc.
· Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Professional.
